Michael Ray Crutcher, 76, of Jackson, MO, passed away October 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Mike was born February 25, 1944 in Fargo, ND, the son of Claude Clinton and Ellen Hazel Ingle.
Mike was a lifelong arborist. He retired after 19 years working for the City of Cape Girardeau as Leadman for the Street Department.
He became a member of the United Methodist Church. Mike was known for being a kind man willing to help anyone in anyway. He loved his bride of 56 years with his whole heart. He took pride in being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mike and Wilma Faye DeJournett were united in marriage on February 22, 1964 at Jackson, MO and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Faye Crutcher two daughters, Michelle (Dennis) Jones of Millersville and Bev (Brad) Rhodes of Advance a brother, David Crutcher of High Ridge, MO three granddaughters, Anna Tankersley, Laura Perko and Katy Wondel and six great-grandchildren, Natalee Kiplinger, Holly, Pruitt, Alexis Pruitt, Landree Tankersley, Hazel Wondel and Preslee Green.
Visitation will be held on Weds. October 28, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Rev. Bryan Wendling and Rev. Karen Nothdurft will officiate.
