Hettie Lynn Brock was born on November 11, 1953 in Flint Michigan. Her family moved to Advance MO and built their farm in 1960. Hettie was an Art Teacher for many years, a medical transcriptionist and later in life a loving caregiver to her father and sister. Hettie was always fiercely independent, creative, and a free spirit. Whether it was designing amazing objects with her cricket or with her sure and steady hand, she brought so much joy, beauty and life to everything around her. Her artistic legacy will be carried on by her nieces and nephews, who because of her share her love for crafting. She made her family farm a home for many and encouraged everyone to come as you are.
Although she will be missed dearly by her friends, many nieces and nephews, Hettie will at long last be reunited with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her mother Bernice Brock, her father Dobie Brock, and her sisters Cathy Brock and Lori Williams. Her family will have a private graveside service.
