Curtis Dwaine Lemons, 65, of Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away August 1, 2023, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born June 24, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Truman and Ruby Lindeman Lemons.
For 30 years Curtis had worked as a shop foreman for Lemons Coin Machines. He also had worked for seven years at Lewis Brothers Bakery in Murfreesboro, TN. He attended Fusion Street Ministries in Advance. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, music, and being with his family.
Survivors include: his parents, Truman and Ruby Lemons of Cape Girardeau a son, Erik Lemons of Anna, IL his constant companion and friend, Ann Herdershott and her family three grandchildren, Calley, Josh, and Devon and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Brandon and Joshua Lemons and a daughter, Keri Lemons.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Eric G. Lemons officiating. Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery in Gipsy, MO.
