Linda Diane Slinkard, 70, of Advance, passed away June 15, 2020. She was born August 2, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Bill and Bernece Whitehead.
She was the owner of The Flower Box in Advance, MO and worked as florist for over 30 years. She was a proud graduate of Advance High School. She loved spending time with her family, trips to casinos with her friends, and watching her sons play music.
She is survived by 3 children: Scott (Shara) Slinkard of Jackson, Todd (Cara) Mayberry of Advance, and Michelle (Tom) Crosnoe of Cape Girardeau and 7 grandchildren : Elwood Mayberry, Finn Mayberry, Theran Slinkard, Drew Slinkard, Samantha Slinkard, Kayla Long, and Connor Crosnoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Keith Whitehead, and her aunts, Louise Dude Long and Lois Vavak.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 5-8 pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 19th at the chapel with Rev. Leeman Shirrell officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
