Lindel L. Ward, 78, of Sturdivant, MO, passed away August 8, 2020 at his home. He was born May 7, 1942 in Piedmont, MO, the son of Guy C. and Ethel M. Barks Ward.
Lindel had been a school bus driver for Zalma RV for over 40 years. He also had owned and operated S&S Tire in Zalma. He was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church in Dogola, MO. He enjoyed spending his time woodworking and doing anything outside.
Lindel and Janice L. French were united in marriage on November 24, 1963 at Poplar Bluff, MO and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2012.
Loving survivors include: a son, Kindel (Candy) Ward of Sikeston a daughter, Kim Moore of Sikeston and four grandchildren, Andy Ward, Grace Ward, Garrett Ward and John Ward.
He was preceded in death by his parents his wife, Janice and a grandson, David Ward.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at Wesley Chapel Church in Hiram, MO with Rev. Dan Overton officiating.
