Daniel Hammack of Advance passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1948 in East Alton, Illinois to Dan and Willene Overbey Hammack. He graduated from Advance High School in 1966. He served eight years in the U.S. Air Force, having been stationed in Japan, the Philippines, Greenland, and Hawaii, before returning home to Advance.
Dan is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Patrice and Charles England of Advance a niece, April McFerron of Advance a great niece, Whitney McFerron of Lille, France and a great nephew, Matthew McFerron of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
