Lessie Mae Robins, 91, of Jackson, formerly of Advance, MO, passed away June 13, 2023, at the Monticello House in Jackson. She was born May 15, 1932, in Advance, the daughter of Walter and Elsie Emrah McIntosh.
Lessie spent most of her life as a homemaker. She had worked as a waitress, an over the road truck driver with her husband, and had also helped farm. She was a charter member of the Advance Eagles and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Lessie and Carl Robins were united in marriage on October 14, 1971, in Corning, AR and he preceded her in death September 26, 2010.
Survivors include: a sister, June Hamilton of Corning, AR several nieces and nephews the last few years of Lessie's life she lived with her great nephew, Alan Tad and Denise Long of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Carl a son, Dennis Ray Williams a brother, John McIntosh four sisters, Louise Long, Sylvia Long, Dorothy McIntosh and Virgie Mulligan.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
