Beverly Jean Fairbanks Wink was born October 29, 1941, daughter of Willis and Frances (Babcook) Fairbanks in Anamosa, Iowa. She peacefully passed away early Friday, August 9, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Beverly and James (Jim) Richard Wink were married October 2, 1960, in Anamosa, Iowa and enjoyed 59 years together until Jim passed away on February 9, 2019.
Beverly was a homemaker and seamstress making beautiful window treatments for numerous years. In her later years, she enjoyed sewing, knitting and creating personal gifts that she generously shared with family and friends. She was proud of her award-winning homemade fudge. She was an avid Bridge card player! She was always ready for a card game, entertaining guests, playing games or social outings, which always included food!
She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ at Fruitland and former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She will be greatly missed by her family, dear neighbors, circle of Bridge friends, church family and everyone whom she met.
Beveryly is survived by 2 daughters, Kristine (Bill) Glueck and Brenda (Dan) Rau both of Jackson. Three brothers, Charles Fairbanks of Anamosa, IA, Terry (Sally) Fairbanks of Lost Nation, IA and Jay (Linda) Fairbanks of Lexington, KY. Eight grandchildren, Beth (Scott) Mangels, Joe Glueck, Jeremy (Amanda) Kelley, Denny Kelley, Caleb Glueck, Jessica Clary, Rebekah (Allain Roy) Clary and Brad Clary. Two step grandchildren, Madison Rau and Sierra (Byron) Miller and nine great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Jim her parents daughter Kathy Wink granddaughter Abigail Clary sister-in-law Carol Fairbanks nephew Dennis Fairbanks brother-in-law Ron (and his wife, Mary) Wink and brother-in-law Charles Wink.
Visititation will be Sunday, August 11th from 4 7 pm at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 781 State Highway FF, Jackson, MO. The funeral will be on Monday, August 12th at 10am and the burial to follow, both at the church.
