Clementine Loughary, 74, of Advance, passed away October 18, 2024, at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born December 23, 1949, in Bremen, TN, the daughter of Robert and Eleanor Gould Carr.
Clemmie had been a supervisor at the Veterans Administration in Cape Girardeau for over 20 years. She believed deeply in her faith and attended Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance.
Clemmie and Russell W. Loughary were united in marriage on December 5, 2014 at Marble Hill and he survives of the home.
Survivors include: her husband, Russell Loughary, a stepson, Lynn Geiser of Dexter, a brother, Bobby Carr of Zalma, a sister, Karen Sanders of Zalma, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Allan Geiser, and a brother, Tom Carr.
Visitation will be held on Wed. October 23, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Ray Placher and Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
