Leslie Kevin Lewis, affectionately known as Kevin to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at the age of 61. Born on December 12, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin was the cherished son of Herbert and Joyce Dunivan Lewis. His life was a testament to the joy and warmth he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
Kevin graduated from Windsor High School in 1982, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him during his formative years. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and his kind-hearted nature made him a beloved figure among his peers.
In 1991, Kevin married the love of his life, Lisa Lewis. Together, they navigated the journey of life, celebrating 33 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Their union was a beautiful example of partnership and devotion.
Family was the cornerstone of Kevin's world. He was a devoted son, a loving husband, and a caring brother to Herbert Lynn (Midge) Lewis, Terry Lewis (Debi), Jeffrey Lewis (Cindy), Mike Lewis (Serina), and Tami Perciful (Jim) many nieces and nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews. Each sibling relationship was unique and special, with Kevin sharing moments of joy, wisdom, and humor that would become cherished memories.
Kevin's passion extended to his professional life where he spent several years working at Wolfe Auto Auction. His dedication and work ethic were evident in all he did, and his presence was a valued part of the team. Colleagues respected him for his integrity and camaraderie, making the workplace not just a place of employment, but also one of community and friendship.
Beyond his family and career, Kevin had a zest for life that was expressed through his interests. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheels, a hobby that reflected his youthful spirit and love for the classic and the whimsical. His enthusiasm for WWE wrestling showcased his ability to become wholly absorbed in the excitement and drama of the sport, bringing an infectious energy to every match he watched.
Kevin's love for animals was evident in his cherished pets, Harlie, Daysie, and Blossom. They were not just pets but members of the family, each one receiving Kevin's abundant affection and care.
In every aspect of his life, Kevin was a man who lived with purpose and joy. His infectious laugh, his generous spirit, and his unwavering kindness will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Kevin's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family and friendship.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
