Carla Marie Robinson, 68, of Advance, passed away August 29, 2025, at the Advance Nursing Home. She was born October 21, 1956, in Yuma, AZ, the daughter of Carl Ray and Alice Marie Johnson Barr.
Carla had been a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Millerville. She had a love for music and singing.
Carla and Billy Gene Robinson on January 17, 1976, in Advance and he survives of the home.
Survivors include: her husband, Billy Gene Robinson, two sons, James Robinson of Sturdivant and Joe Robinson of Advance, three brothers, Richard Barr of Jackson, Mark Barr of Jackson, and Paul Barr of Advance, two sisters, Pat Baker of Millersville and Kim Fowler of St. Joseph, MO, seven grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cathrine Mary Barr.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Greenbrier House of Worship. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Tommy Swift officiating. Burial will be held at Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, MO.
