James L. Howard, 78, of Bismarck, MO passed away July 27, 2019 at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, MO. He was born May 14, 1941 in Bell City, the son of Clarence and Bertha Putnam Howard.
James retired after 30 years of working at the Ford Motor Plant in Hazelwood, MO. He was a member of the UAW Local #325. He enjoyed horse trail riding, fishing and hunting at deer camp with lots of friends.
James and Cathryn Hostetler were united in marriage on March 28, 1965 at Clay Center, KS and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Cathryn Howard a daughter, Shelly Claywell of Kirkwood, MO four grandchildren, Samantha Davis, Cort Davis, Jr., Corvelle Davis and Amanda Claywell and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents a daughter, Holly Davis three brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be held on Weds. July 31, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. Rev. Eric Shrum will officiate.
