Janice Nadean Thompson, 82, of Bloomfield, MO passed from this life peacefully on August 3, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Janice was born June 13, 1937 at Bloomfield, the daughter of Verlin and Juanita Mann Sheldon.
She retired after 43 years working at Inland Shoe Factory, International Shoe Factory and International Hat Factory. She attended Perkins Baptist Church in Perkins, MO.
Janice and Paul D. Thompson were united in marriage on September 10, 1956 and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1994.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Steven (Marilyn) Thompson of Bloomfield and Timothy Dean Thompson of Oak Ridge, MO five grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 6, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Brian Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City, MO.
