Leman R. Schrader, 86, of Advance, MO passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Advance Assisted Living. He was born February 2, 1933 at Zalma, the son of Oscar Lee and Hettie Berrong Schrader.
Leman served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He worked for Cape Electrical Supply for 29 years during which he opened and managed the Poplar Bluff store until his retirement. He was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church near Delta. Leman enjoyed working on motors and hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Leman and Luella Moore were united in marriage on February 25, 1956 and she proceeded in death on March 30, 2015.
Loving survivors include: a daughter, Tonya (Greg) Buttry of Jackson a brother, Norman (Deana) Shrader of DeSoto, MO three grandchildren, Matthew (Tara) Buttry of Cape Girardeau, Andrew (Stacey) Buttry of Nottingham, MD and Amanda Buttry of West Chester, PA and three great-grandchildren, Emmett Buttry, Owen Buttry and Harley Radi.
He was preceded in death by his parents his wife, Luella Schrader two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Weds. September 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Andrew Buttry officiating. Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, MO.
