Jason C. Deckard, 41, of Allenville, MO passed away September 7, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born September 24, 1977 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Jon and Gala Watkins Deckard.
Jason was the Superintendent of Maintenance and Director of transportation of Delta Schools. He was a member of the Allenville Baptist Church and Delta Waterfowl. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the biggest sports fan for the Delta Bobcats, always cheering and encouraging the kids.
Jason was an amazing Christian, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law. Jason biggest joy in life was being a father he always said he loved being a Dad. He was always happy and smiling. He had never met a stranger. He was on fire for God.
Jason and Amanda Thompson were united in marriage on October 5, 2002 at Allenville and she survives of the home.
Loving survivors include: his wife, Amanda Deckard a son, Coleton Wayne Deckard of the home a daughter, Lynnea Marie Deckard of the home mother, Gala Deckard of Brownwood twin brother, Justin Deckard of Brownwood half-sister, Jessie Menchak of St. Louis step-mother, Terrie Menchak of St. Louis mother and father-in-law, Phil and Darlene Thompson of Allenville brother and sister-in-law, David and Tanya Coomer of Whitewater nieces and nephew, Alexis Deckard of Advance and Grant and Brooke Coomer of Whitewater other family members and more friends than you could count.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Jon Deckard his Dad, Charlie Hendley and his grandparents Ray and Annabelle Copman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Weds. September 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker and Rev. John Casebolt officiating. Burial will follow at Bloomfield City Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
