Ettie Pearline Crites, 89, of Mitchell, IL, passed away October 25, 2019. She was born April 18, 1930 in Zalma, MO, the daughter of George and Alta Jackson Davis.
Ettie had worked as a Nurse for many years. She had also worked for Chromecraft in St. Louis. She had attended Brush Creek Church when she was a child. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mitchell, IL.
Ettie and Elman Crites were united in marriage in 1948 and he preceded her in death in July 1997.
Survivors include: three sons, Roger, Ricky and Michael(Alice) Crites, all of Mitchell, IL a brother, Avery Davis of Bloomfield, MO three grandchildren,four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband, a brother, Leon Davis and a sister, Christine Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Brush Creek Cemetery near Zalma.
