Franklin Frankie Dee Chance, 70, of Advance, passed away February 6, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 16, 1949 in Mississippi County, MO, the son of Frank and Annie R. Davis Chance.
Frankie was skilled in carpentry and this is the type of work he did most of his life. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Frankie was also a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of the VFW.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Libby Chance a brother, Robert Bobby Chance a sister, Shirley Myers and a granddaughter, Chloe Chance.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Billy Joe Chance and two sister-in-laws, Mary J. Chance and Shirley Chance.
Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
