Elizabeth Betty Ingram, 93, of Jackson, MO, passed away June 5, 2020 at the Villas of Jackson. Betty was born February 1, 1927 in Glenallen, MO, the daughter of Carlos Edward and Rose Klein Burns. She was baptized on March 17, 1927.
Betty spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, picking pecans and sewing. She was the most meticulously organized person she kept a diary of her daily activies from 1944 until April 2020.
In 1958 Betty and her husband, Louis moved to Michigan. Betty was joyful to move home to southeast Missouri in 1985. Betty and Louis traveled to all 50 states and Canada and Mexico. She was affectionately known as Aunt Betty by countless people. Bettys love for her family was unmeasurable.
Betty and Louis Ingram were united in marriage on November 28, 1958 at Gordonville, MO and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2001.
Survivors include: a brother, Frank Burns of Jackson, MO a sister, Thelma Eaker of Marble Hill nieces and nephews, Bob Eaker, David Eaker, Victor Burns, Todd Burns, Martha Hildebrandt, Lynn Schreiner, Mark Nussbaum and Mary Smith sister-in-laws, Jan Morgan, Wanda Lanpher, Bess Cronck and Neva Glass numerous Ingram nieces and nephews and her kids the Patterson family from Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband a brother, Bud Burns and a sister, Roselee Nussbaum.
A graveside service will be held on Monday June 8, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance. Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of all arrangements.
