Peggy Joann Winchester, 81, of Advance, passed away June 29, 2020 at her home. She was born February 16, 1939 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Robert and Nettie Niswonger Winder.
Peggy had worked as sign language interpreter for various school districts in Southeast Missouri. She was a member of the Dongola Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola, MO.
Peggy and Jim Winchester were united in marriage and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2016.
Survivors include: two sons, Rick (Patti) Niswonger of Munford, TN and Jason Niswonger of Gordonville, MO a daughter, Stacy Niswonger of Scott City, MO a brother, Paul Winder of Herculaneum, MO nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband four brothers, Earl, Robert. Charles and Jim Winder and a sister, Patsy Green: a son Thomas Niswonger.
Visitation will be held on Weds. July 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Wayne Page officiating. Burial will follow at Dongola Cemetery in Dongola, MO.
