Julian Carr Steiner, 73, of Bell City passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, surrounded by his family at his home.
He was born June 8, 1947, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Phillip and Margaret Steiner. He married Teresa Warren on May 21, 1977 in Bell City, MO. She survives of the home.
He graduated from New Bern (NC) High School in 1965. He also graduated from East Carolina University in 1973 with a degree in Industrial Management. He worked his entire life in the industrial manufacturing field and was the Executive Director of the Industrial Development Authority of Stoddard County. He also was a proud American Air Force Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church.
Julian enjoyed many hobbies. His two favorites would have been front porch sitting with his wife, his family and friends and watching his grandkids in all of their endeavors.
He is survived by two daughters, Denise (Jeff) Funston of Festus, MO and Kelli (Matt) Asher of Bell City, MO. He was a proud papa to six grandchildren Avery, Maggie, Drew, Maddie, Jake, and Delaney and a proud Uncle to one niece, Katherine Steiner, of Charlotte, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Phil Steiner, and one grandson, Drew Asher.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, MO.
Funeral will be at 10am on July 22, 2020 at Morgan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Bell City United Methodist Church.
