Reginald Kent Gregory, son of the late Granville Grady and Eva Jane Bell Gregory, born in Parma, MO on September 19, 1953. Surrounded by his loved ones, he departed this life on October 2, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO, at the age of 73.

Living near a hillside in Advance, MO. Mr. Gregory was a rural, small-town type of guy who loved fishing and growing tomatoes. As a child growing up in Parma, MO, Reggie developed a love for music at an early age. His siblings recall him spending hours lying on the floor in front of the record player listening to and singing along with his favorite records. That passion grew into him becoming a self-taught drummer with a small local band. Later, he took classes at three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, MO. As times changed, he discovered his niche for life in the field of carpentry. Post retirement, he developed a passion for watching the Cardinals and other baseball games endlessly on television.

Besides Teresa Stepp (of the home), his soulmate of 31 years, he is survived by a son, Darron Todd Stauffer of Branson, a sister, Nina J. (Mel) Gregory Graves of Sikeston, a brother, Steven N. (Belinda) Gregory of Malden, his grandchildren, Collin Michael Stauffer, Jackson Lewis Stauffer, Cameron Todd Stauffer, and Lauren Kathryn Stauffer and other significant family and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Granville (Kate) Gregory.

There will be no public service. The family will gather at a later date to share their favorite memories and trickster stories of the life of their beloved Reginald Kent Gregory.
