Beulah Jean Masters of Advance, Missouri, passed away August 6, 2020 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born July 8, 1932 in Belleville, IL to Donald and Phyllis Underwood.
She was united in marriage to Harold Dean Masters on April 5, 1952.
They moved from St Charles, Missouri to Advance, Missouri in 1970 . They were given the name "Greenacres" by many. She traded escalators for chasing pigs and feeding cattle. She worked at MFA for a few years, and was always jokingly teased about her pronunciation of corn. Which she pronounced "carn" over the loud speaker, for all the town to hear. All said and done, she did enjoy being a farmers wife.
She enjoyed Reading, Playing the Piano, Singing, Quilting, Stained Glass, Painting, and Gardening. They would spend their winter's in Texas, and she would come home every year with a new craft she had learned.
Her family was precious to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them. She always made time to bake cookies, swim, paint, read, or tell stories to her Grandchildren. She was never too busy for them.
She was a woman of faith. She loved the Lord, life, and family. If she wasn't reading her Bible, she was writing scripture and what she was studying. Many notebooks are filled with her thoughts and prayers. And she knew God would take care of all her needs.
As, kids growing up, we never needed an alarm clock. She was always sitting at the piano early in the morning singing to the Lord. "Great is thy Faithfulness" was one of her favorites. She attended Christ Church of the Heartland in Cape Girardeau, with family and friends.
When you became her friend, you were friends for life.
