Toledo Franklin McKee, 90, of Bell City passed away September 9, 2020 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born November 10, 1929 in Stoddard County, Mo. the son of Fred Franklin and Lillie Elizabeth Osburn McKee.
Toledo spent his life as a farmer. He was a member of the Bell City General Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
Toledo was a charter member of the Painton Antique Tractor Club. He was an avid baseball fan, a history buff, loved family genealogy, camping and traveling. He had visited 49 states during his travels.
Toledo and Betty Jane Wondel were united in marriage on October 2, 1954 at Hernando, MS and she survives of the home.
Toledo and Betty raised three children son, Ryan Franklin (Teresa) McKee of Painton and two daughters, Patresa Ann McKee of Bell City and Karen Sue (Harry) Hart of Dexter, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Mary McKee.
Visitation will be held on Monday September 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Bob Bradford officiating. Following the funeral service a private family burial will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with full military honors.
