Lowell Dwight Metcalf, 74, of Bell City, MO, passed away March 23, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 31, 1946 in Bloomfield, the son of Otto and Ethel Kelso Metcalf.
Dwight had been the owner and operator of Metcalf Auto Body in Bell City. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam.
Dwight and Sheila Hurley were united in marriage in 1993 at Bell City and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Sheila Metcalf a son, James Metcalf a daughter, Kim Metcalf and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 29, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
