Robert Bob Dunkman, 73, of Advance, passed away October 10, 2021 at his home. He was born June 19, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Robert George and Willie May Newsom Dunkman.
Bob had been the owner and operator of Dunkman trucking for 20 years. He had driven all across the United States. Bob was a great story teller.
Survivors include: his significant other, Jackie Keys of the home his dog, Katie Sue a sister, Lorraine (Bob) Carpenter of Falls Church, Virginia 36 first cousins and his Crown Hospice family.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Bill Dunkman and a sister, Betty Dunkman.
Bob selflessly donated his body to science. His hopes were to help with research on ALS and finding a cure. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
