Harold L. Hunt, 78, passed away in Orange Park, FL on January 17, 2022. He was born August 9, 1943 in Deventer, MO, the son of Lendell and Mary Alma Slayden Hunt.
He retired as a plant manager from Emperier Gas Turbines. He had also worked for Farr Co. Filters Aircraft.
Harold was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Jonesboro #129 Free Masons, the Grand Lodge of Texas, Katy, TX, Sons of the Confederate Veterans, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War.
Harold and Welda Johns were united in marriage on January 28, 1962 in Sturdivant, Mo and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Welda Hunt two daughters, Rhonda Simmons of Fleming Island, FL and Kimberly Molina of Dallas, GA two brothers, Calvin Beach of Mayfield, KY and Carl Edward Hunt of Bell City a sister, Loretta Ellis of Charleston two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Wages.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
