Marilyn Louise Gill, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away February 15, 2022 at her sons home in Scott City, MO. She was born March 5, 1933 in Jackson, MO, the daughter of Theodore Earl and Bessie Mae Smith Dare.
Marilyn had worked as a supervisor of recuts at Thorngate in Chaffee for 20 years. She attended the Bloomfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and loved cats.
Marilyn was first united in marriage to Roy Oller. She married Harold Lloyd Murphy in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 1983. She later married William Sandy Gill on June 4, 1996 and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2007.
Survivors include: two sons, James (Vicky) Oller of Advance and Ronald (Darlene) Oller of Scott City a daughter, Sandra (Gerry) Robinson of Poplar Bluff a step-son, Michael (Renee) Murphy of Puxico a step-daughter, Debbie Murphy of Moscow Mills, IL two brothers, Ed (Jane) Dare of Godfrey, IL and Bill (Bonnie) Dare of Cottonwood, CA a sister, Nancy (Larry) Rogers of Paragould, AR nine grandchildren a step-grandchild 23 great-grandchildren a step-great-grandchild and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance. Rev. Steve Koerner will officiate.
