Mildred Millie Tropf, 86, of Bell City, MO, passed away May 30, 2022 at Aspire Health and Rehabilitation Center in Advance. She was born July 14, 1935 near Painton, MO, the daughter of Jim McKinley and Lydia Ethel Storey Hogg.
Millie attended Perkins School as a child. In 1952 she was a graduate of Bell City High School.
She had worked as a secretary at the Inland Shoe Factory in Advance. She also was a bookkeeper for Tropf Farms and the mother of four children.
Millie was a very active member of the Bell City United Methodist Church and as well as the Bell City community.
Millie and Leamond Tropf were united in marriage on April 3, 1952 in Piggott, AR and he survives of the home.
Survivors include: her devoted husband, Leamond Tropf two sons, Doug Kay Tropf of Marble Hill and Steve Lynn Tropf of Bell City a daughter, Connie Steve Hughes of Bell City a sister, Linda Tankersley of Perkins 13 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and many cherished friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents a son, Rickey James Tropf three sisters a brother her mother and father-in-law, Harl and Lena Tropf.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Sue Wilborn. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
