Mary Elizabeth Mangrum, 86, of Advance, MO, passed away June 22, 2022 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born June 3, 1936 in Allenville, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Minnie Summers Ervin.
Mary was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church. She retired from Mo IND at Dexter. Mary had also worked many years at Inland Shoe in Advance, MO. She was an avid Cardinals fan and liked to quilt.
Mary and Ralph Mangrum were united in marriage on June 18, 1951 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1991.
Survivors include: two sons, Jesse Mangrum of Advance, MO and Kevin Mangrum of Bloomfield, MO five daughters, Fran Wolfe of Allenville, MO, Kathy Howell of Dexter, MO, Tena Matthews of Dexter, MO, Mildred Condon of Martinsburg, WV, and Cindy Galloway of Dexter, MO nineteen grandchildren thirty-six great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents one daughter two sons five sisters three brother one great grandson and one great-great grandson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Phil Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hobbs Chapel south of Puxico, MO.
