Oren Dwayne Koogler, 72, of Advance, passed away August 27, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 10, 1952 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of Guy and Alma McSpadden Koogler.
Dwayne had been a truck driver for Chad Schott Trucking. His CB call sign was Wishbone. He was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard.
Dwayne was a member of the Advance Eagles #4154. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, shooting pool and grilling.
Dwayne and Barbara Ann Polson were united in marriage on June 27, 1970 in St. Louis and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Barbara a sister-in-law, Vickie Lewis of Hillsboro two nephews, Adam (Holly) Lewis of Hillsboro and Vernon Lewis of Park Hills a niece, Amanda Reeves of House Springs two great-nephews, Noah Reeves and Landon Priest two great-nieces, Kylie Reeves and Kaitlin Lewis and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother-in-law, Steven L. Lewis and a nephew, Noel Reeves.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
