Daniel Ray Huhn passed peacefully in his home September 5, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
Danny was born July 22, 1952 to Paul & Jean Huhn Cape Girardeau, MO.

Danny married his Advance High School soul mate Nancy Markham June 29, 1974. They were blessed with a son, Daniel Huhn II,(Becky) two Grandsons Jackson and Jacob Huhn. Danny has two brothers, Mike Huhn, Cape Girardeau,MO and Marty (Elaine) Huhn of Perryville, MO. Danny has three brother in laws: Jack Richard Markham
Jr., Alan (Sherry) Markham and Kevin Markham. Danny & Nancy have several nephews, nieces, in addition to great nephews & nieces. Danny was employed at Florsheim Shoe for many years where he had many co-workers who turned into great friends.

Unfortunately Danny inherited an eye disease that
slowly robbed him of his vision. He chose to not let this prevent him and his family from living the best
life. He acquired a guide dog and furthered his employment as a Computer Analyst at Meritz in St.
Louis, MO with his buddy Webster accompanying him to and from work. After Webster's passing he
was fortunate to get another great guide dog Dakota. Danny was very artistic with many talents. A
lover of music, played guitar and sang, excellent at drawing and sketching. Danny was a member of a
band as lead singer, along with his brother Mike and close friend George Reutzel (Willie). Along with his
musical talents, he was an accomplished athlete having achieved a Level One Black Belt in the art of Tae
Kwon Do that Nancy and Daniel attended as well. Danny was asked to illustrate for the annual Advance
School Year Book, of course being Danny he didn't believe his drawings were very good. They were.
We've all often wondered just how far his art could have taken him. We never got the impression that
Danny had any regrets. His sense of humor was absolutely captivating. His son inherited this talent. He had the ability to make any situation brighter which automatically drew many toward him.

Proceeding Danny in death were his parents, his Father & Mother in law, a nephew Jody Markham and
great nephew Carson Markham.

Visitation will be held on September 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel.
