Mildred Allene Harnes, 95, of Advance, passed away September 23, 2022 at the Advance Assisted Living Center in Advance, MO. She was born January 7, 1927 in Advance, the daughter of George and Birdie Dory Fowler.
Mildred spent most of her life as a homemaker. Earlier she had worked as a secretary at Asa Asphalt in Advance. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Advance.
Mildred was first united in marriage on July 20, 1950 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1978. She later married James Harnes in 1990 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2013.
Survivors include: a son, Stephen (Gretchen Jones) Irvin of Sugar Creek, MO and a brother, Ralph (Willa Dean) Fowler of Advance.
She was preceded in death by her parents husbands four brothers and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance. Rev. Dennis Allen will officiate.
