Herb Loughary, 80, of Advance, passed away January 7, 2023 at his home. He was born November 14, 1942 in Gipsy, MO, the son of Cecil Edward and Melola Ann Newell Loughary.
Herb had been a Cummins certified mechanic for 60 years. He was a long-time member of the Advance Eagles, he had been a past President of the club.
Herb was united in marriage to Treva Clark in 1960, she passed away in March 2018. He married Nancy Stewart in 1976, she passed away on February 15, 2006. He was later married to Virgie Tina Frazier on December 26, 2017 and she survives.
Survivors include: his wife, Tina two sons, Edward (Nora) Loughary of Crystal City and Matthew Loughary of Advance two daughters, Terrisa (Davey) Collins of Advance and Karen Wells of Glen Allen a brother, Donnie Ray Loughary of Hillsboro, MO a sister, Irma Estes of Advance 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents three sisters, Lillian, Minnie Charlene Jensen and Beverly Shepard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, MO. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Don Loughary and Clayton Loughary officiating. Burial will follow at Brownwood Cemetery at Brownwood, MO.
