Troy Lee Ford, (79), of Advance, Missouri, passed away on January 31st, 2023 at Southeast Hospital. Troy was born to DD and Edith Ford on May 1st, 1943, in Advance, Missouri. He graduated from Advance High School in 1961. Shortly after graduating, he opened his own paint and body shop (Fords Bodyshop). Troy and Maryln (Sue) were united in marriage June 28th, 1969, in Hiram, Missouri at Wesley Chapel. They raised their two sons in Advance, MO. Troy ran a successful business for close to 50 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. When he wasnt outside, he was attending his grandchildrens sporting events.

Troy is survived by his two sons, Troy Delain (Rebecca) Ford and Earnest Dwyght (Kathy) Ford. His nine grandchildren: Jacob Ford, Kelley Ford, Jacquelyn (Kevin) Baer, Victoria Ford, Anna Ford, Samantha Ford, Montanna (Andrew) Hileman, Peyton Ford, and Elijah Ford. His great grandchildren: Jackson Shatley, Christopher Law, and Ford Hileman. As well as his sister Judy Bishop. Troys nieces and nephews: Renesha (Chris) Chambers, Sydney Chambers, Christa Chambers, and Ricky Bishop. He is also survived by his companion, Sharon Hood. Her children: Angie (Donald) Parks, Ralph Hood, and Elizabeth (Shannon) Barnfield. Her grandchildren: Josh (Alyssa) Parks, Logan Parks, Brandon Wright, and Maggie Wright. Sharons great grandchildren Clayton and Quincy Parks. Troy is preceded in death by his wife Maryln (Sue) Ford his parents DD and Edith Ford and brother-in-law Richard Bishop.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at the chapel February 3 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ray Placher as the officiant. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Missouri.
