Patricia Lee Bowman, 70, of Advance, passed away March 14, 2023 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 22, 1952 in Chaffee, MO, the daughter of John Webster and Elizabeth Rebecca Russell Griffin.
Patty had worked as a nurses aide and medical tech at Advance Nursing Center and Chaffee Nursing Center. She was a member of the Randles General Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time quilting, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.
Patty and James Jimmy Bowman were united in marriage on October 24, 1970, in Chaffee and he survives of the home.
Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Bowman two daughters, Sherri (Ray) Donley of Greenbrier and Angie Laxton of Rice, TX a sister, Carol Freerksen of Advance six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Randles General Baptist Church in Randles, MO, with Rev. Leeman Shirrell officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
