Karen Deloris Light, 71, of Bell City, MO, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on August 14, 2023. She was born December 14, 1951, in Warren, Michigan, the daughter of Dwight Harding and Veda Deloris DeJournett Teets.
For over 20 years Karen had worked for Wal-Mart. She enjoyed collecting antiques and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include: three sisters, Brenda Schatz of Advance, Zelma McTurnan of Cape Girardeau, and Gwendolyn Shirrell of Advance four brothers, Eldon Teets of Mt. Clemons, Michigan, Dennis Teets of Puxico, Stanley Teets of Dexter, and Randy Teets of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, MO.
