Mary Maxine McIntosh, 74, of Gipsy, passed away January 31, 2024, at Southeast Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born May 21, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Clarence Oscar and Bethel Elizabeth Bishop White.
Mary had worked in the healthcare profession in nursing homes and in-home health. In her later years she was the owner and operator of Dream Clean. She was a member of the Berrong General Baptist Church in Gipsy. She was an animal lover she enjoyed her dogs and horses.
Mary and Gary McIntosh were united in marriage on August 12, 1967, in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2014.
Survivors include: a son, Gary Brian McIntosh of Cornelius, North Carolina two daughters, Angela (Charles) Mayo of Advance and Rena Miller of New Hamburg long-time special companion, John Hill a sister, Pearline Porter of Advance three grandchildren, Devan Long, Dawson Mayo, and Nicolas Miller; a great-grandson, Marshall Long and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband a grandson, Dylan Miller three brothers, Wilburn White, Delbert White, and Kenneth White and a sister, Imogene White.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. With Pastor Ronnie McAtee officiating. Burial will follow at Berrong Cemetery in Gipsy, MO.
