Jesse Eugene Mangrum, 68, of Advance, passed away February 1, 2024, at his home. He was born June 8, 1955, in Advance, the son of Ralph and Mary Ervin Mangrum.
Jesse had been a lifelong farmer and mechanic. He attended Allenville Church. He loved hot rods, fishing, and hunting. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: two son, Derek Mangrum of South Bend, IN and Zack Mangrum of Michigan a daughter, Shelly Mangrum Knight of Lowndes a brother, Kevin Mangrum of Aquilla five sisters, Sis Mangrum of West Virginia, Fran Mangrum of Allenville, Cindy Mangrum of Dexter, Cathy Mangrum of Dexter, and Tena Mangrum of Dexter four grandchildren, Sidney Williams, Cassidy Manier, Austin Mangrum, and McKeighla Mangrum and six great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Ava, Sawyer, Bella, Cohan, and Coltin.
He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers, Randy, and Darrell Mangrum and a sister, Sharon Mangrum.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Hobbs Chapel Cemetery in Puxico.
