Mark Raymond Robins, 64, of Advance, passed away January 2, 2025, at Southeast Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born August 18, 1960, in Advance, the son of Norman Raymond and Lillie Belle Strong Robins.
For 20 years Mark had been employed at Arvin Automotive in Dexter. He later worked for 8 years at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau handling online shipping orders. He enjoyed spending time golfing and reading.
Mark was a 1978 graduate of Advance High School. He was an All-Conference basketball player for the Hornets and his nickname was Stick.
Survivors include: a brother, David (Lisa) Robins of Dongola, a sister, Tana (Don) Hudson of Advance and 4 nieces and nephews, Zach Hudson, Kaitlin McLinn, Ken Martin and Josh Spear.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the chapel with Kevin Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
