Jamica Jamie Anthony, 53, of Chester, IL, formerly of Advance, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on May 31, 2023. She was born July 25, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of James and Sherry Anthony.
Jamie had worked in home health care. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dexter. She enjoyed spending her time fishing.
She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: a sister, Cinnamon Dockery her father, James Anthony two nephews, Aaron Arnold and Austin (Christie) Arnold three great-nephews, Hank, Heath, and Kaleb two great-nieces, Hazel and Issabelle and aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Anthony a brother, James Anthony, II paternal grandparents and material grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the chapel. Speakers will be Aaron Arnold and Laura Wade.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family or Morgan Funeral Home.
