Clarence W. Simpson, 84, of Cape Girardeau, passed away December 26, 2020 at his home. He was born April 5, 1936 in Little Rock, AR, the son of Bithel and Velva Curtis Simpson.
Clarence had been a concrete truck driver for Criss and Shaver for many years. In later years he was a courier for the Bank of Advance for 20 years. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Cape South.
Clarence and Nelda Rainey Kidd were united in marriage on June 2, 1984 in Dexter, MO and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Nelda Simpson a son, Mark Simpson of Cape Girardeau two step-sons, Bobby Kidd and Jason Kidd, both of Jackson, MO a step-daughter, Natasha Garland of Marble Hill nine brothers and sisters six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. on Zoom from the Kingdom Hall Cape South. Tom Kelsey will be the speaker.
