Michael Wayne Francis, 54, of Benton, MO, passed away May 20, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born on August 15, 1971. He was the son of Gary Wayne and Donna LuGene Calvert Francis.
Michael was fun-loving and had the biggest heart, contagious smile and laugh. He loved his family and made a point of staying in touch with frequent phone calls. He loved spending time fishing, playing video games, watching movies, and staying active through working out.
Survivors include: his father, Gary Francis of Chaffee, a daughter, Mariah Francis of St. Louis, six brothers, Rocky (Angie) Francis of Franklin, TN, Adam Francis of Arizona, Russell (Shelly) Francis of Crestview, FL, JessC Hargraves of Benton, James Phillips of Cape Girardeau, and Rick Dirnberger of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Francis and two brothers, Sam Francis and Jason Francis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A memorial service will be held at the chapel at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Wayne Page will officiate.
