Janet Sue Cossou Nesler, 82, of Bell City, passed away July 18, 2021 at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance, MO. She was born May 4, 1939 in Bell City, the daughter of Charles and Maude Overbey Cossou.
Janet worked in clerical at Lucent Technology for over 30 years, she retired in 1988. She attended the Bell City A Frame Church.
Janet and Bobby Dale Nesler were united in marriage on December 31, 1976 at Bell City and he preceded her in death on October 27, 2011.
Survivors include: two step-sons, Tim (Robbin) Nesler of Advance and Todd (Angie) Nesler of Daphne, Alabama a step-daughter, Kim (Mike) Lewandoski of Jackson, MO a brother, Mike (Connie) Cossou of Kelso and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband a brother, Jerry Cossou and a sister, Jane Bollinger.
Visitation will be held on Weds. July 21, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.
