Paul Edward Lynch, 94, of Puxico passed away peacefully at his home on August 31, 2026 under the care of his son David and Hospice.
He was born January 24, 1932 to Bennie and Bessie Robinson Lynch in Dudley, MO. He graduated from Fisk High School. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Willie Joe Lynch, and Carlos Wilford Lynch.
On March 8, 1952, he married Patsy Cantrell in Piggot, Arkansas and she preceded him in death in 2010 after 58 years of marriage. Together they raised 4 children, Becky (Mike) Fielder, Nashville, TN Steve Lynch, Puxico Mark (Nancy) Lynch, Dover, FL and David Lynch, Puxico.
Paul was a proud United States Marine Corp combat wounded veteran of the Korean War. He went nowhere without his Marine Corp cover on.
He was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, Ashley, Crystal and Devon great-grandfather to Brendan, Haley, Tristan, Gabrielle, Paul, Bridgette and Dalton and great-great-grandfather to Callie and Ella.
Paul is survived by his children and brother Wallace Lynch of Dudley.
Paul retired from Pontiac Motors, Pontiac Michigan and moved to Puxico in 1980. He loved fishing, an excellent card player and loved casino hopping.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Hobbs Chapel, County Road 495, off Hwy 51, on September 26, 2026 at 11am. Please join us and tell us more stories of our father and make more memories.
