Jimmie Gale Bollinger, 91, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away March 24, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born August 31, 1931 in Marble Hill, the son of John Henry and Mildred Kinder Bollinger.
Jimmie had a long career as a construction worker. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Cape VFW.
He enjoyed reading, horses, camping, hunting, fishing, telling stories, and was a good cook. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jimmie and Bonnie June Fahrenkrog were united in marriage on April 17, 2009 at Fort Smith, Arkansas and she survives.
Survivors include: his wife, Bonnie Bollinger of the home three sons, Kevin Bollinger of Muldrow, OK, Nick Bollinger of Marble Hill and Mike Bollinger of Marble Hill a daughter, Sabrina Stevens of Perrysburg, OH two sisters, Rita B. Smith of Baltimore, MD and Virginia Crum of Arvata, CO two step-sons a step-daughter ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents two sons, Robert and Kirk Bollinger three brothers four sisters and a great-grandson.
A private service will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
