Peggy Renee Chronister, 58, of Alton, MO, passed away November 27, 2023, at her home. She was born November 13, 1965, in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Freddie and Regina Gremar McCulley.
Peggy worked for nine years as a Systems Team Specialist at AirMedCare. She attended the United Baptist Church in Alton. She had also been a lifelong member of McGee Chapel. Peggy was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and loved the television show, Supernatural.
Survivors include: her mother, Regina Massa of Alton a son, James Chronister of Alton two daughters, Nicole (Shannon) Kirkpatrick of Alton and Alyssa Chronister of Alton two brothers, Steven (Annette) McCulley of Fruitland and Joe (Mary) McCulley of Marble Hill a sister, Penny (Sammy) Simmons of Alton six grandchildren, Allen, Milton, Allison, McKayla, Madelyn, and Elaina Kirkpatrick and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie McCulley and a sister, Pamela McCulley.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Rick Knotts officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
