Brandon Kerry Tidwell, 50, of Advance, passed away August 17, 2024, at his home. He was born June 30, 1974, in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Norman Kerry and Carla Kay Mashek Tidwell.
Brandon worked as a welder at Construction Trailer Specialist in Sikeston. He attended Fairview General Baptist Church near Advance.
Brandons one-of-a-kind personality made him easy to love and impossible to forget. His fun-loving attitude brought smiles to all who knew him. Nothing meant more to Brandon than his family. He enjoyed coaching his kids in baseball and softball but took even more joy in cheering them on during basketball and volleyball or reading their latest comic book. He enjoyed game nights with family and friends but hated to lose and loved to cheat. He was known to start projects yet never complete them. Other favorite pass times of his were star gazing, playing Poppy to his grandson and putting away a healthy portion of whatever baked goodies his momma had made him that week.
Brandon and Jennifer Lynn Amelunke were united in marriage on April 29, 2006, at Advance and she survives of the home.
Survivors include: his wife, Jennifer Tidwell, two sons, Hunter Tidwell and Brayden Budrow Tidwell, both of the home, a daughter, Ashlyn Tidwell of the home, a grandson, Carter Tidwell Phelps, his mother and step-father, Carla and Eddie Hendrix of Advance, two brothers, Brian Tidwell of Linden, TN and Blane Tidwell of Fruitland, step-mother, Rhonda Tidwell of Morley, a step-brother, Brian Hendrix of Greenbrier, uncle, Kevin Tidwell of Advance, uncle, Mike (Glenda) Mashek of Poplar Bluff, and a host of lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kerry Tidwell and a stepsister, Kim Hendrix.
