Thomas W. Phillips, of Zalma, beloved husband, father and papa. Laid his working tools down and moved to his Heavenly home on February 26th, 2025, at the age of 70 years old. Born in Advance Mo, March 14th, 1954, to Willard and Erma (Pate) Phillips of Zalma.
Tom married the love of his life Rene Walk on June 8,1974 at Brown General Baptist church in Puxico Mo.
He was a lifetime farmer and retired after many years from MODOT. He was currently working as part of the Bollinger County Road Department and was an attendee of Sturdivant Church.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Willard and Erma Phillips.
His survivors include, wife of 50 years Rene Phillips of Zalma Mo, daughters, Stephanie (Scott) Cato of Zalma Mo and Jennifer (Jeff) McLeary of Kinder Mo, sisters, Pamela Garner of Scopus Mo and Cynthia Rogers of Zalma Mo, Worlds best Papa to, Natalie(Hayden) Lawson of Poplar Bluff Mo, Brendan Cato of Cape Girardeau Mo, Jasper Smith of Puxico Mo, Melena(Trey) Clark of Puxico Mo and Great Grandchildren, Renelynn & Graham Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Union Hill Church near Marble Hill, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Church with Bro. Gene Lineberry officiating. Burial to follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
