Linda Louise Pape Haller, 81. of Zalma, passed away March 22, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born August 16, 1943, in Zalma, the daughter of Roy and Geneva Nichols Lingle.
Linda spent over 40 years as the owner and operator of T.D. & L. Pape Store in Zalma. She was a member of the Zalma General Baptist Church. She was a music lover, she enjoyed playing the piano, painting, sketching and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda and Thomas Pape were united in marriage on June 5, 1960, in Zalma, he preceded her in death on October 12, 2009. She later married Terry Haller on October 14, 2012, in Branson, MO and he survives of the home.
Survivors include: her husband, Terry Haller, a son, Michael (Bo Anacta) Pape of San Diego, CA, a daughter, Missy (Keith) Stockton of Zalma, two grandchildren, Justin (Paige Fuqua) Stotts and Hunter (Brianna Robertson) Stotts, and three great-grandchildren Reid Thomas Stotts, Khloe Nicole Stotts, and Jace Taylor Stotts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas Pape, and two sisters, Betty Giesler and Janice Mayberry.
Visitation will be held on Wed. March 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Keith Price and Rev. Aaron Lingle officiating. Burial will follow at Berron Cemetery near Zalma.
