Cathryn Ann Howard, 82, of Farmington, MO, passed away November 12, 2025, at The Arbors in Farmington. She was born on October 16, 1943, in Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Sutter Hostetler.
Cathryn attended business school and was a professional secretary for several companies in St. Louis. She retired to Farmington. She cherished spending time outdoors and being in the country, and she found joy fishing, crafting, sewing, collecting antiques, and caring for her cats.
Cathryn and James L. Howard were united in marriage on March 28, 1965, at Clay Center, Kansas and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2019.
Survivors include: a daughter, Shelly (Chris) Claywell of Kirkwood, MO and a granddaughter, Amanda (Kyle) Downs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Holly Davis, three brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
